News 1776 Statesman Herrera Comes To The (Triad) Cabaret Theatregoers hoping to get an early glimpse of the talent on view at the upcoming Broadway revival of 1776 might want to head over to the Triad cabaret on West 72nd St. On June 27, July 21 and July 25, 1776's John Herrera will offer his cabaret solo at the venue.

Theatregoers hoping to get an early glimpse of the talent on view at the upcoming Broadway revival of 1776 might want to head over to the Triad cabaret on West 72nd St. On June 27, July 21 and July 25, 1776's John Herrera will offer his cabaret solo at the venue. Herrera received a Tony nomination for his performance in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and has also been seen on Broadway in Evita, Shogun, Grease and Camelot.

The Roundabout revival of 1776 begins previews July 16 and opens Aug. 14. Herrera plays Roger Sherman (from the state of Connecticut) in the Sherman Edwards/Peter Stone musical.
