Calling all creatures of the night! We see you shivering with antici…pation over this year’s The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again, debuting on Fox October 20 with Laverne Cox as Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

But, television isn’t the only place for the Time Warp. Whether you’re a scientist, a heroine, a creation or some combination of all three, we’ve got you covered. Dust off your tiny gold shorts and red high heels for a production or screening of Rocky Horror in October. Below is a list of screenings, sing-alongs and concerts you can attend in the tristate area.

Manhattan
Make sure to rehearse your callback lines, prep your prop bag and wear your best Rocky Horror attire because the NYC RHPS cast encourages full audience participation. This shadow cast of 27 performs at the Cinépolis Cinema in Chelsea every Friday and Saturday night at midnight, with a special Halloween performance October 31 at midnight. Patrons under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Arriving early is encouraged, as lines form quickly. Tickets are available here.

Brooklyn
Warm up your pipes, and get ready to sing along with The Occasionalists, a Brooklyn-based band who describe themselves as “four local guys playing loose, spontaneous rock-n-roll of all genres with a twist.” The group will be presenting a karaoke concert of The Rocky Horror Picture Show October 31 at Union Hall in Brooklyn. The Occasionalists will play through the entirety of the movie’s soundtrack at 8 PM and then again at 10 PM. While the movie itself will not be screened, scenes and dialogue will be performed in between songs in order to tell the whole story. This event is for patrons ages 21 and up. Staten Island
Prepare to scream along with local Staten Island zombie-punk-cabaret band The Flesh Junkies during their pre-show concert before a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at The St. George Theatre October 28 at 9 PM. The band will open the show with punk and rock music from the late ’70s and early ’80s, including “The Time Warp.” The event will also include a “Virgin Sacrifice” and a costume contest judged by two of the Flesh Junkies: Bub (Jack Dabdoub) and Miss Rina (Rina Dabdoub). Two winners will receive tickets to an event at the St. George Theatre. Prop bags are included with the price of admission while supplies last. Tickets are available here.

Albany
If you’re looking to do the “Time Warp” in Albany, then The Palace Theatre is the place to go. The theatre will screen The Rocky Horror Picture Show October 12 at 7 PM. Tickets are available here.

Commack
Hot Patootie, bless my soul! The Star Playhouse at the Suffolk Y JCC in Commack, NY, will screen The Rocky Horror Picture Show October 15 at 10 PM. The event will include audience participation and a costume contest with prizes. Tickets are available here.

Finger Lakes
The Finger Lakes Inch-high Players will be performing The Rocky Horror Show at Fatzingerhall in Fingerlakes, NY, October 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 7 and 10 PM and October 27 at 7 PM. The production is directed by Kimberly Brown and choreographed by Tammy Papperman, with musical direction by Charity Gillotti. Tickets are available here.

Glens Falls
Come up to the lab and see what’s on the slab… The Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls, NY, will show the cult classic October 28 at 8 PM and October 29 at 8 PM and 11:59 PM. The Noel S. Ruiz Theatre at the CM Performing Arts Center in Oakdale, NY, will perform The Rocky Horror Show October 22, 28, 29 and November 5 at midnight and October 31 at 8 PM. Tickets are available here.

Looking to be thrilled, chilled and fulfilled? The Paramount Hudson Valley Theater in Peekskill, NY, will present The Rocky Horror Picture Show October 29 at 8 PM. Audience members under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available here.

The Shandaken Theatrical Society in Phoenicia, NY, will present The Rocky Horror Show at the STS Playhouse October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 8 PM and October 16, 23 and 30 at 2 PM. Syracuse
If you’re in the mood for a cult classic movie marathon, check out The Palace Theater in Syracuse, NY. The Palace will screen The Rocky Horror Picture Show as part of their “Halloween Bash” October 28 starting at 5:30 PM. And that’s just one small fraction of the main attraction! The event will also include a dance party, a costume contest and screenings of The Car and Flash Gordon. The “Halloween Bash” is open to people of all ages. Tickets are available here.

The event will feature live entertainment, music, a costume contest and survival kits for all newbies. Aberdeen
Looking for a regular Rocky Horror showing in New Jersey? The Friday Nite Specials might be the group for you. This shadow cast of 33 performs every Friday at midnight at the Strathmore Theater in Aberdeen, NJ. The Friday Night Specials also perform pre-show skits and encourage audience participation. Clifton
You seem like you’re pretty groovy, so you might just love Dingbatz’s Rocky Horror screening that includes live performances from special guest bands Danse dE Sade, JingerKroa, Collective Man, Joy Ride and Nightmare in Wonderland. This event will take place October 22 at 7:30 PM. Shadow cast The Home of Happiness will perform during the showing of the film. Tickets are available here.

Jersey City
Have you ever wanted to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show in a cemetery? Well, now’s your chance! The Home of Happiness, a New Jersey-based shadow cast of 29, will screen the film at the Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery October 14 at 7:30 PM. All proceeds will go to charity. The State Theatre of New Jersey in New Brunswick will present a screening of the film October 28 at 9 PM. The event begins with a party featuring live music. Looking for a live stage musical production of The Rocky Horror Show? NENAProductions in Ocean Grove, NJ, might have just the show for you. Their production of The Rocky Horror Show plays at the Jersey Shore Arts Center October 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 8 PM and October 23 at 3 PM. Brad?! That’s right! The College Street Music Hall will be hosting a Q&A session with the 1975 film’s original Brad, Barry Bostwick, along with their screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
