Farewell to Kenneth P. Forbes, a Broadway actor in the 1940s who later became co-publisher of the Riverhead, Long Island newspaper, The News Review. Forbes died July 27 of cancer at age 76. According to a Newsday obituary, Forbes was a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and a protege of Moss Hart. In 1942, "Kenny Forbes" appeared in two nearby Broadway plays simultaneously, Junior Miss and the Lindsay/Crouse comedy, Strip For Action.
