Don Sebesky, who ignited marshal sounds and rag-era colors in the musical drama, Parade, has been nominated for a Tony Award for Best Orchestrations.

His previous work includes orchestrations for The Life, which also earned him a Tony nom, The Goodbye Girl, Cyrano and The Will Rogers Follies.

He has 20 Grammy noms and two Emmy noms under his belt and his work accompanies such artists are Barbra Streisand, Vanessa Williams, Barry Manilow George Benson and John Pizzarelli.
