The Goodman Theatre production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman has won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play. The production stars Brian Dennehy as Willy Loman, Elizabeth Franz as Linda Loman (also a Tony winner, for Featured Actress), Kevin Anderson as Biff Loman, Ted Koch as Happy Loman and Howard Witt as Uncle Charlie. Robert Falls, artistic director of the Chicago-based Goodman directs.

Death of a Salesman, Miller's searing story of a small time drummer's blind belief in and betrayal by the American Dream, premiered in 1949, starring Lee J. Cobb under the direction of Elia Kazan. The play went on to become an milestone in American theatre, winning the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award. It was subsequently revived on Broadway twice, once with George C. Scott and once with Dustin Hoffman and John Malkovich.
