News 2002 Jeff Awards, Honoring Chicago Theatre, Announce Noms; Ceremony Set for Nov. 4 The Joseph Jefferson Awards, with recognize the best in Equity and non-resident Windy City theatre, have announced their 2002 nominations, with Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire leading the pack with 16 nods apiece.

The Joseph Jefferson Awards, with recognize the best in Equity and non-resident Windy City theatre, have announced their 2002 nominations, with Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire leading the pack with 16 nods apiece.

The award ceremony will be held Nov. 4 at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie.

Other top nomination getters include the Court Theatre with 11, Writers' Theatre with ten, Steppenwolf with nine and Drury Lane Oakbrook and Goodman with eight each.
