News 2007 IT Award Winners Announced Julie Halston hosted the Sept. 24 New York Innovative Theatre Awards, which honors the best of Off-Off Broadway.

The annual event not only awards innovative works from Off-Off-Broadway, but seeks to raise awareness of the Off-Off Broadway scene and its cultural contributions.

Among the presenters for the third annual IT Awards were NYC Council Speaker Christine Quinn, actress Kathleen Chalfant, lighting designer Natasha Katz, director Leigh Sliverman, TOSOS II Artistic Director Mark Finley and Back Stage's National Theatre Editor Leonard Jacobs.
