News 2012 Tony Nominee Linda Lavin Will Spend Nights Off from The Lyons at the Metropolitan Room Tony winner Linda Lavin, again recently nominated for Broadway's highest honor for her performance in the current Nicky Silver comedy The Lyons, will play the Metropolitan Room May 6-7 at 9:30 PM.

Lavin will perform selections from her new CD, "Possibilities," which is available from Sh-K-Boom Records.

The singing actress will be joined at the intimate venue by musical director Billy Stritch at the piano, Steve Doyle on bass and Steve Bakunas on drums.

Audiences can expect to hear such tunes as "It Might as well be Spring," "There's a Small Hotel," "Corcovado" and "You've Got Possibilities," among others.

Linda Lavin won her Tony for her performance in Neil Simon's Broadway Bound and earned Tony nominations for Collected Stories, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, The Diary of Anne Frank and The Last of the Red Hot Lovers.
