Film & TV News 2015 Documentary Chita Rivera: A Lot of Livin’ to Do Rebroadcast July 21 The 60-minute career retrospective of the two-time Tony winner was filmed in January 2015.

Chita Rivera: A Lot of Livin’ to Do, originally seen in November 2015, is rebroadcast by WNET/13 July 21 at 9 PM ET; check local listings.

The 60-minute career retrospective features interviews, archival performance footage, and newly filmed songs from Rivera’s concert repertoire, including “A Boy Like That,” “America,” “A Lot of Livin’ to Do,” “All That Jazz,” and “Nowadays.” Also part of the broadcast are interviews with John Kander, choreographer Graciele Daniele, The Visit director John Doyle, original West Side Story star Carol Lawrence, playwright Terrence McNally, actors Dick Van Dyke and Ben Vereen, choreographer Dee Dee Wood, and Rivera's daughter, singer, dancer, and choreographer Lisa Mordente.

A Lot of Livin’ to Do was filmed in January 2015 before a packed audience at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s The Appel Room in the Time Warner Center. Rivera is accompanied by an 11-piece orchestra led by long-time music director Michael Croiter.

A recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom as well as the Kennedy Center Honor (the first Latina ever chosen to receive this award), Rivera has won two Tony Awards as Best Leading Actress in a Musical and received eight additional Tony nominations.

This September, Rivera will begin her concert tour with Tommy Tune; Chita & Tune - Two for the Road opens at Enlow Hall/Kean University September 16 and 17.

Rivera has been a special guest performer on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises.
