Playbill has learned that the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards have postponed their 2017 ceremony. The awards, which honor excellence in dance and choreography on stage and screen, are typically held in May. The board of directors intends to relaunch this fall—an exact date will be announced later.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the awards ceremony. Categories include Best Dancer (Male and Female), Best Choreographer, Outstanding Ensemble, and Outstanding Choreography in Film.

Among last year’s winners were She Loves Me’s Jane Krakowski, Shuffle Along’s Phillip Attmore, and Andy Blankenbuehler, Savion Glover, and Sergio Trujillo in a three-way tie for their work on Hamilton, Shuffle Along, and On You Feet!, respectively.
