A 25th anniversary production of The Rocky Horror Show will open in the Showroom of Sydney's Star City Casino on July 29.
The production, to be directed by Nigel Triffitt, features a cast of popular television stars. Tim Ferguson will play Frank 'N' Furter. He is best known as a former member of the comedy group 'Doug Anthony All Stars' and host of TV's Don't Forget Your Toothbrush. Also in the cast are Tottie Goldsmith (Janet),Glenn Butcher (Brad),Wilbur Wilde (Eddie/Dr Scott) and Red Symons (Narrator).
The show has been staged many times in Australia, but not in Sydney for five years. The Nigel Triffit designed production was last staged in Perth two years ago starring Jason Donovan (currently touring the UK as Frank 'N' Furter).
The production is expected to play in Sydney for six months before touring.
