News   4:48 Psychosis, Exploration of Mental Breakdown, Begins at St. Ann's Warehouse Tonight Marking the 15th anniversary of playwright Sarah Kane's death, 4:48 Psychosis, Kane's play about a mind on the edge of a breakdown, begins performances at St. Ann's Warehouse Oct. 16.

Presented by the Polish theatre TR Warszawa and directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna, the production is performed in Polish with English supertitles. It will officially open Oct. 19 and continue through Oct. 26.

The cast includes Magdalena Cielecka, Katarzyna Herman, Rafał Maćkowiak, Lech Łotocki and Adam Woronowicz.

4:48 Psychosis "is a bold, lyrical depiction of a mind on the edge," press notes state. "The work swings from elation to despair as it chronicles a convincing, lucid vision of isolation vs. non-existence."

The production features set design by Małgorzata Szczęśniak, lighting design by Felice Ross, music by Piotr Domiński, Paweł Mykietyn and Grzegorz Jarzyna and productions by Marcin Wiktorowski.
