News 4:48 Psychosis, Exploration of Mental Breakdown, Opens at St. Ann's Warehouse Tonight Marking the 15th anniversary of playwright Sarah Kane's death, 4:48 Psychosis, Kane's play about a mind on the edge of a breakdown, officially opens at St. Ann's Warehouse Oct. 19 following previews that began Oct. 16.

Presented by the Polish theatre TR Warszawa and directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna, the production is performed in Polish with English supertitles. It continues through Oct. 26.

The cast includes Magdalena Cielecka, Katarzyna Herman, Rafał Maćkowiak, Lech Łotocki and Adam Woronowicz.

The production "is a bold, lyrical depiction of a mind on the edge," press notes state. "The work swings from elation to despair as it chronicles a convincing, lucid vision of isolation vs. non-existence."

4:48 Psychosis features set design by Małgorzata Szczęśniak, lighting design by Felice Ross, music by Piotr Domiński, Paweł Mykietyn and Grzegorz Jarzyna and productions by Marcin Wiktorowski.
