News 50 Men and 50 Women Take on Mass Battle of the Sexes in Lysistrata 100 A cast of 50 men and 50 women will star in the Edward Einhorn adaptation of Aristophanes' classic with Lysistrata 100, playing at the UnderWater Theatre through April 21.

Parker Gainseville LLC and Untitled Theater Company #61 present the work slated to open Feb. 11 at the Brooklyn venue. Einhorn directs his adaptation.

Lysistrata 100 follows the same Aristophanes story of the women of Athens who, in an attempt to end the years of war with Sparta, unite to withhold sex from their battling beaus.

Cameron Peterson leads the extra large cast as the title character. Also playing featured roles are Saysha Heinzman (Calonice), Kalle Macrides (Myrrhina), Heather Oakley (Lampito), Madelene DeLeon (Leader of Women), Cory Einbinder (Leader of Men), Ryan Jensen (Magistrate), Troy Acree (Cinesias), Ken Simon (Spartan Herald), Katherin Nolan Brown (Corinthian) and Jenn Walker (Theban).

Perhaps the hardest working members of the creative team are the group of assistant directors, which include Henry Akona, Russel Kaplan, Regina Robbins, Thomas Weitz and John Summerford.

The design team for Lysistrata 100 features Cemre Durusoy (scenic), Carla Gant (costume) and  Aaron Mason (lighting). The production also features original music by William Niederkorn.
