News 59E59 Theaters' Winter Slate Has Bears, Years of Sky, a Gluck Opera and the Return of Brits Off-Broadway Eclectic winter programming for Off-Broadway's 59E59 Theaters — the hive of intimate spaces on East 59th Street — was announced by artistic director Elysabeth Kleinhans and executive director Peter Tear on Dec. 3.

The venue's operators are known for their commitment to housing the ambitious work of not-for-profit companies from near and far, on three stages.

Here's the winter 2013 lineup:

City Love Song: Home

Brits Off Broadway

"The only festival in NYC celebrating new British theatre, celebrates its ninth season. This year, 59E59 Theaters and Brits Off Broadway partner with Creative Scotland to launch New York City's Scotland Week celebrations with the New York City premieres of new plays from Scotland. The festival will also include New York and U.S. premieres of new work from all over the U.K. Watch for the full Brits Off Broadway line up in the coming months."
