Tony Awards 68th Annual Tony Awards Broadcast, Hosted by Hugh Jackman, Honored With Writers Guild Nomination On Dec. 4, the Writers Guild nominated the 68th Annual Tony Awards broadcast and writer Dave Boone with a nomination in the Comedy/Variety – Music, Awards Tributes – Specials category. Special Material was written by John Macks.

Heather Hitchens, President of the American Theater Wing, said of Dave Boone, “His words are the threads that bind each element of the Tony Awards together and are a vital element in the seamless movement of the show.” Executive Director of The Broadway League, Charlotte St. Martin shared, “We are extremely proud of Dave and this WGA nomination.” 

The 2015 Writers Guild Awards will announce its winners on Feb. 14, 2015 at ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

The American Theatre Wing's 69th Annual Tony Awards will be broadcast live on CBS on June 7, 2015 at 8pm ET from the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Nominations will be announced on April 28.

The American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
