News 83rd Academy Awards, Hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathaway, Presented Feb. 27 Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2010 will be presented Feb. 27 at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. The awards ceremony will be televised live by ABC-TV beginning at 8 PM ET. Robin Roberts, Tim Gunn, Krista Smith and Maria Menounos will host "Oscar's Red Carpet Live," which will air on ABC at 7 PM ET, immediately preceding the Oscar telecast.

James Franco and Anne Hathaway co-host this year's ceremony.

Presenters are scheduled to include Matthew McConaughey, Dame Helen Mirren, Javier Bardem, Hilary Swank, Josh Brolin, Russell Brand, Scarlett Johansson, Cate Blanchett, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Jude Law, Tom Hanks, Annette Bening, Robert Downey Jr. and Hugh Jackman.

Nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards were announced Jan. 25 by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Tom Sherak and 2009 Oscar winner Mo'Nique.

"The King's Speech" earned 12 Academy Award nominations, the most of any film of the season.

In addition to "King's Speech," nominees for Best Picture also include "127 Hours," "Black Swan," "The Fighter," "Inception," "The Kids Are All Right," "The Social Network," "Toy Story 3" and "True Grit." Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, who will be represented on Broadway later this season with the new musical Sister Act, received an Oscar nomination for Best Music (Original Song) for  "I See the Light" from the animated film "Tangled." Other songs in that category include "Coming Home" (from "Country Strong"), "If I Rise" (from "127 Hours") and "We Belong Together" (from "Toy Story 3").
