Highlights include an opening-night performance of Gershwin's music with saxophonist Houston Person and others; a meeting of pianists with Charlap, Hank Jones, Ray Bryant, Mulgrew Miller, and Ren_e Rosnes; a tribute to Hall featuring Lovano and trumpeter Tom Harrell; a performance of Hoagy Carmichael songs with pianist Dave Frishberg and guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli; a showcase of the small-group music of Horace Silver and Kenny Dorham; and an evening of Nat "King" Cole's music, starring his brother, Freddy Cole.

Bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington, Charlap's regular bandmates, will appear in several of the programs.
