New York City's 92nd Street Y opens a two-show program Nov 11 celebrating "women’s contributions to the world of humor." First in line is the Nov. 11 appearance by "The Daily Show's" Beth Littleford and SCTV star Andrea Martin. Later, on Nov. 14, "The Rosie O’Donnell Show"'s Emmy Award-winning writer, performer and producer Judy Gold gets together with special guests and performs her own stand up.

As reported earlier, The Nov. 14 show was reorganized after a cancellation by Oscar-winning Best Actress Olympia Dukakis, who was originally scheduled to appear with Judy Gold. After a brief cancellation of the entire Nov. 14 show, Emmy Award winner Gold re-upped with another show for the evening, featuring special surprise guests and stand up comedy.

The 92 Street Y's November comedy program break down thusly:

On Nov. 11 at 8:15 PM, Beth Littleford will interview Andrea Martin, who first came into prominence on the revered SCTV television show, a highly successful outgrowth of the Second City improvisational troupe. They will have a discussion on performers who have inspired them and served as role models for aspiring women in the arts.

Andrea Martin earned two Emmys for Best Writing of a Comedy, as well as an Emmy nomination for Best Actress. Her television credits include "The Martin Short Show," the Fox series "Damon," and her award-winning special "Andrea Martin, Together Again." Recently nominated for a Tony Award for her role in Candide, Martin received a Tony and a Drama Desk Award for My Favorite Year and another Drama Desk nomination for her one-women show Nude, Totally Nude. On Nov. 14, at 7:30 PM, Judy Gold will perform stand up comedy and then share the stage with some special surprise guests.

Celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, the 92nd Street Y points to its reputation as a model for outstanding programming in the arts and education for children and adults.

Tickets are $2O. For information call (212) 996-1100 or visit the 92nd Street Y Box Office (Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street).
