Presented for five performances, the series of three one-acts will be offered Sundays through June 21 as part of Cause Célèbre and the New Group's Part Time Productions. A Battle of Wills/Internal and External features a rotating line-up of actors including Delphi Harrington, Tasha Lawrence, Lizbeth Mackay, Carolyn McCormick, Larry Pine, Marian Seldes, John Shea, Kevin Stapleton and Frances Sternhagen.
Included are a collection of Dorothy Parker works, This Is On Me, adapted by Emmy winner Tom Fontana and directed by Antony Marsellis; Harold Pinter's Ashes to Ashes, directed by Christopher Hart; and Susan Charlotte's Love Divided, under the direction of John Shea, which centers on a sister and her brother, who suffers from schizophrenia.
Part of the proceeds from the series will go to Columbia Psychiatry's Lieber Schizophrenia Recovery Center.
