Classic Arts News A Brass Summit: New York Philharmonic and Jazz at Lincoln Center Musicians to Appear at Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble Wycliffe Gordon, the trombone ace from the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, will appear with his New York Philharmonic counterpart Joe Alessi and Philharmonic bassist David J. Grossman this evening at a Barnes & Noble Offstage event.
Alessi, the Philharmonic's principal trombonist, Grossman and Gordon will be featured in conversation with host Jeff Spurgeon of WQXR-FM (96.3). The talk, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 7-8 p.m. at Barnes & Noble's Lincoln Triangle branch, Broadway at West 66th Street in Manhattan.
