Tony nominee Nick Cordero married actor Amanda Kloots earlier this week and sealed their nuptials in the classiest way possible: a choreographed first dance to “It Had to Be You.” Watch the “number” in the video above.
The two met while working on Bullets Over Broadway, the show that earned Cordero his Tony nomination, a Drama Desk nomination, and a Theatre World Award. Their first-dance song was the tune Cordero used to audition for Bullets.
In March of this year, Cordero announced their engagement via Instagram.
The actor currently stars as Sonny in A Bronx Tale on Broadway, the mob boss played by the show’s writer, Chazz Palminteri, in the feature film version of the story of the same name. Cordero earned a 2017 Drama Desk nomination for his turn in the new musical directed by Robert De Niro and Jerry Zaks.
Previously, Cordero starred in Waitress as the abusive husband to Jessie Mueller’s Jenna and in Broadway’s Rock of Ages. Kloots, a former Radio City Rockette, made her Broadway debut in Good Vibrations and appeared in the ensemble of the 2011 revival of Follies.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
