News A Christmas Carol, with Guy Paul and Jim Poulos, to Return to Geva Theatre Center An all-new production of A Christmas Carol will be seen on the Geva Theatre Center Mainstage beginning Nov. 26 in Rochester, NY.

An official opening is set for Dec. 1 for a run through Dec. 26. This year will mark the first time A Christmas Carol has been seen on the Geva Mainstage since 2007.

Mark Cuddy will direct and adapt the script for this production, based on Charles Dickens' classic novella about the miserly Ebeneezer Scrooge's ghostly journey toward redemption on Christmas Eve. Gregg Coffin, composer of Five Course Love and Convenience, will contribute music and lyrics.

Guy Paul will star as Ebeneezer Scrooge, with Jim Poulos (Bob Cratchit), Melissa Rain Anderson (Mrs. Cratchit), Kevin Ligon (Fezziwig), Ned Noyes (Fred), Remi Sandri (Marley's Ghost) and Kara Lindsay (Belle).

Rochester actors Royce Bleier, Vincent Carbone, Kate Dylan, Tim Ellison, Stephanie McKee, Kara Minute, Michael Sheehan and Ricky Thomas, and young thespians Ethan Beckwith-Cohen, Tali Beckwith Cohen, Lucas Brown, Kasey Dickinson, Emelia Duserick, Gavin Flood, Mina Konuksever, Erin McManus, Sage Melcher, Michael Motkowski, Megan Mueller, Julie Sandler, Carina Scalice, Taylor Tydings and siblings Alizabeth and Annaleigh York will complete the cast.

Meggins Kelley will choreograph. The design team will feature Adam Koch (scenic designer), Devon Painter (costume designer), Paul Hackenmueller (lighting designer), Lindsay Jones (sound designer) and Dan Scully  (projection designer). Gevea Theatre Center is located at 75 Woodbury Boulevard in Rochester.
