A Cover Story: Everyday Rapture

PlayBlog   A Cover Story: Everyday Rapture
Following a hit Off-Broadway run at Second Stage, Sherie Rene Scott's "sort-of autobiographical meta-musical" Everyday Rapture began previews at American Airlines Theatre April 19.

The hard-to-define performance follows "a young woman's psycho-sexual-spiritual journey on the rocky path that separates her mostly Mennonite past from her mostly Manhattan future."

Michael Mayer directs the show co-written by Scott and Dick Scanlan.
