The first new musical of the season is Joe DiPietro and David Bryan's Memphis. Following previous incarnations in La Jolla, Seattle, Massachusetts and Northern California, the show lands at the Shubert Theatre Sept. 23.  Chad Kimball and Montego Glover star at the center of a story that explores the rocky musical landscape of the segregated 1950s and the cultural revolution that erupts when a white radio DJ meets a black singer. Christopher Ashley directs a cast that also features J. Bernard Calloway, James Monroe Iglehart, Cass Morgan, Derrick Baskin and Michael McGrath.

A few doors down West 44th Street at the Broadhurst Theatre, a London transfer of Shakespeare's Hamlet begins a 12-week engagement Sept. 12.  Starring Jude Law in the title role, this production comes on the heels of sold-out runs at the Donmar Warehouse and at Elsinore - where the play is set - in Denmark.  Michael Grandage directs.
