Jon Kakaley's A Hole in His Heart begins performances Jan. 20 at Atlantic Stage 2 for a limited engagement through Jan. 28.

Directed by Jake Turner, the cast features Ydaiber Orozco, Brian Podnos, Arthur Gerunda, Daniel Genalo and Mark Hennessy. The company also includes playwright Kakaley, who plays the role of James Logan. A Hole in His Heart, press notes state, follows "the story of James Logan, a budding young film star who reunites with an old lover. Though wildly successful, James struggles with feelings of loneliness, and has found that all the money in the world won't fill the void that's rapidly consuming his soul. In James' absence the young girl's self‐esteem has all but withered away, and upon his arrival she is at her wits end. As they attempt to reconnect, they experience a series of events that will change their lives forever."
