PlayBlog A Peek at Cirque's Shpeel Ed Sullivan loved to showcase vaudeville on his old TV show. "America's Got Talent" is filling that void.

The latest Cirque du Soleil production, Banana Shpeel, a frenetic new vaudeville show, will perform a sneak-peek performance on the season finale of the TV talent competition "America's Got Talent" airing on Sept. 16 on NBC (8 PM ET).

The specially-choreographed Shpeel presentation will feature 16 performers, including Broadway's Annaleigh Ashford and Michael Longoria. British reality TV star Susan Boyle — known for her version of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miz — will also make an appearance on "AGT" on Sept. 16.s

Banana Shpeel is the new theatrical production from Cirque du Soleil and MSG Entertainment. Written and directed by Tony Award winner David Shiner (Fool Moon), its world premiere will be at The Chicago Theatre Nov. 19, for a run to early January 2010. It will play Manhattan's Beacon Theatre beginning Feb. 4, 2010.
