The actor and musician dispels the rumors about her and her co-star/director Bradley Cooper.

After winning her first Oscar for A Star Is Born's "Shallow" February 24, Lady Gaga stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“I swear when we won, it was like my whole artistic journey flashed before my eyes. I instantly saw myself sitting on my stoop of my studio apartment in New York City on the concrete with my keyboard next to me trying to figure out how I was going to lug my keyboard again on my walk up,” she said. “This was hard work.”

She had also been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her performance as Ally in the film.

Gaga also addressed the rumors that she and her co-star and director Bradley Cooper are romantically involved outside of their film. “People saw love, and guess what? That's what we wanted you to see,” she said. “This is a love song, ‘Shallow.’ The movie A Star Is Born, it's a love story. We worked so hard. We worked all week on that performance.

“From a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time,” she said of the Oscars performance. “When you're singing love songs, that's what you want people to feel. I'm an artist, and I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!”
