News A Very MARY Holiday Benefit to Honor Judith Light; Kate Shindle, Orfeh, Matt Doyle to Perform Marti Gould Cummings will host the 2nd Annual A Very MARY Holiday benefit Nov. 29 at Dixon Place in New York City. The starry holiday benefit raises money and awareness for The Ali Forney Center.

The evening will feature the talents of Kate Shindle, John Arthur Greene and Matt Doyle as well as Danny Calvert and the Broadway Boys, Jack Mackenroth, Matt Shingledecker, Annie Golden, Michelle Dowdy, Brian Charles Rooney, Tracy McDowell, Malan Breton, Chase Davidson, Krystina Alabado, Scott Nevins, Kate Pazakis, Megan Reinking, Alex Ellis, Taylor Mac, Marcus Simione, composer Scott Alan, The Broadway Dolls, Ryan Nickulas, TJ Kelly and Orfeh. Author, political strategist and civil right's activist David Mixner will be the Keynote Speaker.

The Broadway Speaks OUT! Hero Award will also be presented to Judith Light, a member of the Broadway community who continues be an "incomparable, and unwavering supporter of LGBT rights and the equality of all," according to press notes. Light is currently on Broadway in the new drama Lombardi.
