Abigail’s Party Finds Its Cast | Playbill

News Abigail’s Party Finds Its Cast Mike Leigh’s 1977 comedy is being staged by The Barrow Group Off-Broadway this fall.

The Barrow Group has announced complete casting for its staging of Abigail’s Party. Mike Leigh’s 1977 London-set comedy will be directed by co-artistic director Lee Brock.

The cast of Abigail’s Party, set to begin Off-Broadway November 12, will be made up of Lily Dorment (The Unrepeatable Moment), Colleen Clinton (Blue Bloods), Sarah Street (Law & Order), Nick Hetherington (Outside Mullingar) and John Pirkis (Daredevil).

Performances are scheduled to run through December 3. The show will officially open November 14.

“A 1977 brilliantly observed comedy, Abigail’s Party captures epic denial in London suburbia and still hits a nerve about the way we live,” state BTG production notes. The Off-Broadway staging is produced in association with The Pond Theatre Company.

Abigail’s Party will feature set design by Edward T. Morris (Pirate La Dee Da), lighting design by Marika Kent (The Unrepeatable Moment) and sound design by Matt Otto (The Pavilion). Allison Raynes will serve as production stage manager.

Performances will take place at the TBG Theatre at The Barrow Group, located at 312 West 36th Street, New York. Tickets are priced at $25 and available at barrowgroup.org or by calling OvationTix at (866) 811-4111.
