News   Acclaimed Off-Broadway Hit Every Brilliant Thing To Launch Second UK Tour The Paines Plough and Pentabus Theatre Company production of Every Brilliant Thing, currently playing an extended run at Off-Broadway's Barrow Street Theatre, will launch its second U.K. tour. The announcement follows critically acclaimed runs in New York City, London and Edinburgh.

Written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe and performed by Donahoe with direction by George Perrin, Every Brilliant Thing opened Dec. 14 and is playing through March 29.

The one-man show follows one man's attempt, from childhood into adulthood, to create a list of all the best things in the world to cure his mother's depression.

"We are thrilled for the continuing life of this heartfelt story, from audiences across the U.K. having the opportunity to see it again to future plans here in the U.S.," said producer Jean Doumanian in a press statement.

The show's second U.K. tour will begin performances at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival in Wales on May 2, 2015, and will play cities across the U.K. including Liverpool, Oxford, the Brighton Festival, and Canterbury, among other engagements. For a full tour schedule, please visit painesplough.com
