News Acting Company's Star-Studded Reading of The Guardsman Delayed To Dec. 14 The New York-based Acting Company has rescheduled its Salon Series reading of Ferenc Molnar's The Guardsman. Originally set for Nov. 16, it will now occur on Dec. 14. The reading's performers have altered slightly, too. Marian Seldes will not be appearing, as first announced. However, Jayne Atkinson (Ivanov ) and Rene Auberjonois (City of Angels ) are still on board, under the direction of Scott Ellis (1776 ). Other casting will shortly be announced.

Smash (Jan. 11, 1999), playwright Jeffrey Hatcher's (Scotland Road ) adaptation of Shaw's comic novel "An Unsocial Socialist."
Easy Virtue (Feb. 8) by Noel Coward, starring Lisa Banes under the direction of Maria Aitken.
The Truth About Blayds (Jan. 24, 1999) by A.A. Milne, directed by John Miller-Stephany, starring Frances Conroy (The Ride Down Mt. Morgan ).
