Best Little Whorehouse will be presented Oct. 16 at 7:30 PM at the August Wilson Theatre, currently the home of the hit musical Jersey Boys. Seth Rudetsky will once again be the musical director as well as the artistic producer for the semi-staged concert. Steven Yuhasz and Tim Pinckney are the producers. The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas features a score by Carol Hall and a book by Larry L. King and Peter Masterson based on the infamous Texas brothel, the Chicken Ranch. The musical, co-directed by Peter Masterson and Tommy Tune, opened on Broadway in 1978, playing 1,584 performances. Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton starred in the film version.

The Actors' Fund of America, a nonprofit organization founded in 1882, provides for the social welfare of all entertainment professionals. Its headquarters and The Aurora Residence are located in New York City, and its nursing home and assisted living care facility are in Englewood, New Jersey.
