Directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Mark Lamos, opening is set for May 27.

The cast will be headed by Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba (Bullets Over Broadway, Contact) as Desiree Armfeldt; Tony Award nominee Emily Skinner (Billy Elliot: The Musical, Side Show) as Charlotte; and Patrick Cassidy (42nd Street, Sondheim’s Assassins) as Federick Egerman.

A Little Night Music, according to press notes, "presents a beguiling and bittersweet tale of lost love, scandalous liaisons, and youthful passions that intertwine over a midsummer’s eve at a country home in 1900s Sweden."

Artistic director Carey Perloff said in a statement, “Mark Lamos and A.C.T. Casting Director Janet Foster have put together an extraordinary cast fresh from their many triumphs on Broadway and around the country. I couldn't be more excited to hear all of them singing Sondheim’s glorious music on the Geary stage!”

Single tickets are available online at www.act-sf.org and by phone at (415) 749-2228.
