Rock of Ages resident director/performer Adam Dannheisser will helm the premiere that begins Nov. 7 for a run through Nov. 27 at Good Shepard United Methodist Church in Astoria.

The Cottage, according to APAC, "is a rollicking farce inspired by the works of Noel Coward. Set in the English countryside in 1923, this tale of sex, betrayal and, oh yes, love, unfolds when Sylvia Van Kipness decides to expose her love affair to her husband and her lover's wife. The true meanings of fate, identity and marriage are called into question as a surprising, hilarious web of secrets unravels in this ridiculous—and potentially murderous—romantic comedy."

The cast will include Daniel Bielinski (Macbeth), Maria Couch (On the Levee), Kevin Isola (Brooklyn Boy), Jason Loughlin (War Horse), Amy Rutberg (The Divine Sister), Hanley Smith (The Voice of the Turtle).

The Cottage will have scenic design by Stephen K. Dobay, costume design by Ryan J. Moller, lighting design by Evan Roby, sound design by Janie Bullard and prop design by Katie K. White. Kenneth Garner is the dialect/accent coach.

Rustin is the co-creator (book and lyrics) of the Off-Broadway musical Rated P ... for Parenthood, currently playing regionally and in development for TV with ABC Studios.
