American musical theatre writer Adam Gwon, whose Ordinary Days was produced Off-Broadway and in London and whose songs have been recorded and performed by the likes of Audra McDonald and Kelli O'Hara, is to return to London for a one-night-only concert celebration of his work, May 12 at London's St. James Studio.
He will lead a five-piece band and will be joined by three of the original West End cast of Ordinary Days, Julie Atherton, Alexia Khadime and Lee William-Davis. Other guests will include Alistair Brammer, Helena Blackman, Cassie Compton, Fra Fee, Clare Foster and Stuart Matthew Price.
The evening features musical direction by Joe Bunker and is directed by Adam Lenson (who directed the West End production of Ordinary Days and recently directed Songs for a New World, also at the St. James).
