PlayBlog Adam Lambert to Appear on The Tonight Show March 2 Musical performer turned glam rock icon Adam Lambert will appear on NBC-TV’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” March 2.

Lambert will presumably be the show’s musical guest and perform from his current album, “For Your Entertainment.” A runner-up on “American Idol” last season, Lambert’s stage credits include Wicked and The Ten Commandments.

Lambert’s recent, flamboyantly sexual performance on the American Music Awards was a cause of controversy for the young star. In an intriguing coincidence, one of his fellow guests on “The Tonight Show” will be none other than Sarah Palin. According to Rob Shuter at popeater.com, the conservative politician and the gay entertainer will not appear together on the show.
