Playbill On-Line has learned that Leslie Lyles and Matt Pepper will join the previously announced Amy Irving for the Evered opus, which concerns a woman in 1600's England who is a playwright but also a spy. Irving will star in the title role with Lyles as her best friend Mary and Pepper as Elliot. George Street Artistic Director David Saint will helm the production, which plays the New Jersey theatre Nov. 16-Dec. 12. Leslie Lyles has appeared on Broadway in Night and Day, Hide and Seek, The Real Thing, Garden District and Ah, Wilderness!. Matt Pepper was recently seen Off-Broadway in David Folwell's comedy Boise. Also a playwright, Pepper's works include The Bar Play (with Folwell) and St. Crispin's Day.
