Additional Casting Confirmed for Broadway's Finding Neverland | Playbill

News Additional Casting Confirmed for Broadway's Finding Neverland Additional casting has been announced for the new musical Finding Neverland, which will begin previews March 15, 2015, at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre prior to an official opening April 15.

Olivier Award winner Laura Michelle Kelly (Mary Poppins) and three-time Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (Parade), who played the roles of Sylvia Llewelyn Davis and Madame du Maurier, respectively, in Finding Neverland when it premiered at the American Repertory Theatre earlier this year, will reprise their roles on Broadway.

The two actors join the previously announced Matthew Morrison (in the role of J.M. Barrie) and Kelsey Grammer (in the role of Charles Frohman, Barrie’s theatrical producer).

Additional casting will be announced.

Based on the Miramax motion picture by David Magee and the play The Man Who Was Peter Pan by Allan Knee, Finding Neverland, according to press notes, "follows the relationship between playwright J. M. Barrie and the family that inspired 'Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up' – one of the most beloved stories of all time."

Directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus, the new musical has a book by Olivier Award nominee James Graham, music and lyrics by U.K. pop sensation Gary Barlow and Grammy Award winner Eliot Kennedy and choreography by Emmy Award winner Mia Michaels. Harvey Weinstein produces. For more information visit findingneverlandthemusical.com.
