Adult Entertainment, the new Elaine May comedy about porn movie actors who decide to make their own picture, has moved its opening night to Dec. 11, so as to not compete with the rescheduled Broadway opening of Dance of the Vampires Dec. 9.
This is the second change of opening night for the new Off Broadway play, which stars Danny Aiello and Jeannie Berlin. Stanley Donen directs. Previews begin at the Variety Arts Theatre Nov. 16.
The play completed a tryout in Stamford, CT, Nov. 10. Julian Schlossberg, Roy Furman, Ben Sprecher, Jim Fantaci, William D. Rollnick, Nancy Ellison, Ted Lachowicz and Aaron Levy produce. The cast also includes Mary Birdsong, Brandon Demery, Eric Elice and Linda Halaska.
Variety Arts Theatre is at 110 Third Avenue, below 14th Street. Tickets are $25-65, and are available through Tele charge at (212) 239-6200.
