News After Delay, Overmyer Goes On the Verge on 24th Street in L.A. May 24 LOS ANGELES -- Eric Overmeyer's On the Verge, which was scheduled to open last March at the 24th Street Theatre in N. University Park (near USC) only to be postponed when one of its cast members dropped out to take a film job, has won a reprieve.

LOS ANGELES -- Eric Overmeyer's On the Verge, which was scheduled to open last March at the 24th Street Theatre in N. University Park (near USC) only to be postponed when one of its cast members dropped out to take a film job, has won a reprieve.

The play will now open May 24 at the same theatre, directed by Stephanie Shroyer and Kamella Tate. Featured in the cast are Suzanne Ford, Karen Bankhead and Sarah Zinsser as the three Victorian-age explorers who time-travel to 1955 Las Vegas. Wesley Mann plays the Everyman they encounter all along the way.

The creative team includes Jonathan Sachs (original music), Deen Lynn Mullen and Seanne Farmer (set), Debra Lockwood (lighting), Theresa Lee Costanzo (costumes) and Ruth Judkowitz (sound).
