Apparently, the theatre makes her feel like a natural woman. The New Conservatory Theatre's production of Tapestry, a rock-n-roll revue of Carole King hits, extended an extra month, ending its run Jan. 6, 2002. The musical, crafted for the stage by Rowan Joseph, John Kroner and Jeffrey Martin, was to have closed Dec. 2. Tapestry features the well-known works of King, including "I Feel the Earth Move," "You've Got a Friend," "Up on the Roof" and "One Fine Day". The rock revue is named for King's best-selling album, "Tapestry" which won four Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year for "You've Got a Friend."

Earl D. Weaver directs with musical direction by Alan Fricke. Tapestry features Lara Bruckman, Wade Crosson, Beth Elliott, Jorge Hernandez, Sean Ray and Thena Yacap-Zaragoza.
