Derek DelGaudio’s mystifying one-person show In & Of Itself plays its final performance at the Daryl Roth Theatre in Union Square August 19. The acclaimed production, originally scheduled for a ten-week run, has extended four times.

In & Of Itself arrived Off-Broadway last spring following a sold-out, five-time extended engagement at Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. The show, which explores identity and illusion, is created and performed by magician and performance artist DelGaudio with direction by Emmy winner Frank Oz (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Little Shop of Horrors).

The New York premiere of In & Of Itself is produced by Tony winner Neil Patrick Harris, Werner Entertainment, Forbes Candlish, and Prediction Productions.

Performances began in New York April 5, 2017, ahead of an April 12 opening. The production was originally scheduled for a ten-week run through June 18.

Glenn Kaino serves as artistic producer of the production, which also features original music by Devo frontman Mark Mothersbaugh and production design by A.BANDIT.
