Two points of Aida's love triangle, Sherie Rene Scott and Adam Pascal, are making their solo singing debuts on the new Internet record label, Sh-K-Boom Records.Com. On her disc, Men I've Had, Scott revels in the songwriting talents of Elton John, Pete Townshend, Randy Newman, Jonathan Larson and Kander and Ebb, while Pascal prefers to stick to himself, with Model Prisoner's 12 songs all self-penned.

Included on the Scott CD are two previously unrecorded songs, Larson's "Love Heals" and Kander and Ebb's "This Life" from Over and Over. Scott chose the tunes by her theatrical associations: she appeared on Broadway in The Who's Tommy and is currently there now as Princess Amneris in Aida. Between those two gigs, she found herself in Newman's Faust and Kander and Ebb's Over and Over.

Pascal, a singer-songwriter before Rent introduced him to musical theatre, sang around New York City with the band Mute before becoming Roger in the original production of Larson's hit musical changed that. He then put together The Adam Pascal Band, with which he had some success. Until Aida, however, he found himself unemployed and caught between the worlds of musical theatre and rock and roll. From this time of uncertainty, he says he partially constructed Model Prisoner. Pascal's disc features the following guitar rock musings on pain and love in relationships:
