News Ain't That a Kick in the Head: Ghosts of Sammy, Frank and Dean Swing in Heaven Help Us!, Opening July 2 The world premiere of the fanciful new Rat Pack musical, Heaven Help Us!, about the spirits of Sammy, Dean and Frank inhabiting bodies to comic and romantic effect, opens July 2 after previews from June 25 at Florida Stage.

The resident Equity company in Manalapan, FL, offers the Ray Roderick-directed musical through Sept. 5. It moves to Denver Center Attractions' season at the Buell Theatre in Colorado Sept. 15-Oct. 3.

Heaven Help Us! The Swingin' New Rat Pack Musical is written by James Hindman and Ray Roderick, with musical arrangements by John Glaudini. The cast includes Eddie Korbich, Marcus Neville, Adam Pelty, Julian Rebolledo and Jodi Stevens.

"It's heaven on earth in Vegas as Frank, Dino and Sammy get sent back to correct a 30-year-old white lie — and God only knows if they'll recognize each other in time to save their souls," according to Florida Stage. Billed as a combination of "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Ocean's Eleven," the musical features such beloved classics as "Ain't That a Kick in the Head," "High Hopes," "Me and My Shadow," "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning" and "I've Got You Under My Skin."
