News Aisha de Haas, Kate Ferber, Grace McLean to Star in CAP21's The Daughters Casting has been announced for CAP21's production of Shaina Taub's The Daughters, a "folk-funk opera" which will run March 2-20.

Taub will be featured in the cast of her play, along with Aisha de Haas, Kate Ferber, Maiysha, Alyse Alan Louis, Grace McLean, Dominique Toney, Jenni Lawton and Catherine Brookman.

Sam Pinkleton will direct, and Kris Kukul will provide musical direction for the production, which will feature choreography by Ani Taj Niemann.

Deb O will design the sets, Michael Krass will design the costumes, Paul Miller will design the lighting, and Daniel Kluger will design the sound.

According to CAP21, the show "follows the journey of the vixen starlet Aphrodite, the ruthless hunter Artemis, and the child prodigy Athena, all daughters of the original show-stopper, Zeus. Set against the vicious backdrop of the ceaseless Trojan War, The Daughters explodes the stories of three young women into an immersive, raucous, and heartbreaking rock concert, asking how a spotlighted generation can find their voice in a deafening world."
