Barnes and Noble Lincoln Triangle will welcome a host of theatre and cabaret favorites during the month of May.

Karen Akers, who is currently performing an evening of Simply Styne at the Algonquin's Oak Room, will perform at the Barnes and Noble May 2 at 7 PM. Akers will also autograph her various recordings.

Emma Brockes' tome "What Would Barbra Do?" will be the subject of a discussion and signing May 7 at 7 PM. The evening will also include performances by cabaret singers Bill Daugherty and Connie Pachl.

Former Jekyll & Hyde star Linda Eder, who returns to Feinstein's at the Regency May 1, will celebrate her new CD at Barnes and Noble May 9. Eder will autograph copies of "Linda Eder's Greatest Hits" at 12:30 PM.

The Streisand theme (see May 7) continues May 9 at 6 PM with "Steven Brinberg & Friends." Famed Streisand impersonator Brinberg will perform and sign copies of his new CD, "Simply Barbra: The Duets Album." The recording features Brinberg's duets with such theatre folk as Alix Korey, Hugh Panaro, Heather Mac Rae, Karen Mason, Debbie Gravitte and Claiborne Cary.

Cast members from the new Disney musical Tarzan will head to the West Side venue May 10 at 12:30 PM. They will join "Tarzan: The Broadway Adventure" author Michael Lassell for a discussion and signing of the new book. The cast will also perform selections from the Broadway musical. On May 14 at 7 PM, Judy Gold and Moira Ryan will autograph copies of their new book "25 Questions for a Jewish Mother." The book is based on Gold's recent Off-Broadway show of the same name.

Husband-and-wife performers Jessica Molaskey and John Pizzarelli will perform May 23 at 6 PM. Molaskey will also autograph copies of her newest solo recording, "Sitting in Limbo."

The month will conclude with cabaret singer Maude Maggart on May 30 at 6 PM. The young chanteuse will perform and sign copies of her recordings.

All events are free and open to the public.
