Directed by Adam Twiss, the production — part of the Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy series — also features Benji Jones and David McClutchey.

Death and the Maiden, according to press notes, "follows the story of Paulina Salas (Benji Jones), a woman who was once a political activist against the fascist party. She is convinced a guest in her home, Dr. Roberto Miranda (David McClutchey), is the man who once tortured her for the government. Campbell, who is also Hot Summer Nights' managing director, plays her husband, a rising star in the newly elected, liberal, people's government. Escobar is unaware of his wife's fears and what she is willing to do to seek justice for the Doctor's horrific crimes."

The production team includes Mette Schladweiler (production stage manager), Chris Bernier (technical director/lighting designer), Brian L. Hunt (sound designer), Kristin Greinheisen (costume designer), Jess Jones (assistant director) and Leanne Norton Heintz (properties mistress).

Shows take place at the Kennedy Theatre inside the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh, NC. For tickets call (866) 811-4111 or visit www.hotsummernightsatthekennedy.org.
