News Alan Campbell's "Beyond Broadway Performance Series" Continues in April Alan Campbell, best known to Broadway audiences for his work as Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard, continues his "Beyond Broadway Performance Series" in April.

On April 2 and 3, the actor/producer will present The Red Clay Ramblers at the Fletcher Opera Theater at the BTI Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh, NC. The series continues April 30 and May 1 with The John Pizzarelli Trio. The series began last year with a concert starring singer-actress and Campbell's wife, Lauren Kennedy, and composer Jason Robert Brown. Campbell told Playbill On-Line that his mandate for the series is "simply to bring the acts and people you love. It is especially fulfilling, though challenging, to introduce a new audience to artists the New York community have long embraced." Campbell, who was last on Broadway as Michael Wiley in Lincoln Center's Contact, portrayed Joe Gillis in the Los Angeles and Broadway productions of Sunset Boulevard, earning a Tony nomination for his work in that Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Campbell has been seen Off-Broadway in Avow and Boogie Woogie, and his screen credits include "Jake and the Fatman," "Three's a Crowd," "Another World," "Matlock" and "Homicide."

BTI Center's Fletcher Opera Theater is located at 500 Fayetteville Street Mall in Raleigh, NC. Ticket for the concert are priced at $35 and $30 (students) and are available by logging on to www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (919) 834-4000.
