News Alan Cumming, Ashley Tisdale, Lin-Manuel Miranda and More Among Daytime Emmy Nominees The nominees for the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production, have been announced by the The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The awards will be presented June 22 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

Nominees for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program include Tony Award winner Alan Cumming (Cabaret, The Threepenny Opera), who was nominated for the role of Sebastian Winkleplotz in "Arthur," and Ashley Tisdale (Les Miserables, "High School Musical") for her performance as Sabrina Spellman in "Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch."

Nominees for Outstanding Talk Show Host include "The View," which is co-hosted by Tony winner Whoopi Goldberg (Xanadu, Whoopi), Jenny McCarthy, Sherri Shepherd and Barbara Walters. Outstanding Special Class Directing recognized the 87th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which was directed by Gary Halvorson.

Nominees for Outstanding Original Song include "ABC's of moving." It was composed by Christopher Jackson (In the Heights, Holler If Ya Hear Me), with lyrics by Joseph Mazzarino. "Rhymes with Mando," with music by Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights, West Side Story) and lyrics by Luis Santeiro, was also nominated. Both songs aired on "Sesame Street."

"With over 1,400 entries this year, the National Academy is again excited to welcome more than 350 nominees to this year's Daytime Emmy Awards," Malachy Wienges, chairman, NATAS, said in a statement. "We are happy to return to both the Beverly Hilton and the Westin Bonaventure for what I'm sure will be two very exciting nights for the Daytime television community!" "These exciting nominations officially launch the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards," David Michaels, senior executive director, daytime, added. "This will be a true celebration of Daytime Television focusing on those behind the scenes that make so much of the great quality and innovation we see every day and those on-screen that invite us into the worlds of daytime drama, talk, legal courtroom, culinary, game shows, animation and children's programming we enjoy throughout the year. Congratulations to all the nominees!"
